Command: SUMIF

Syntax: =sumif(data being used to match criteria, criteria, data to be summed if criteria matches)

Example: =sumif(A:A,"Company 1",B:B)

Result in Excel: Excel will sum together column B for every cell in column A that is listed as "Company 1".

Useful for large data sets and easier to use than running lots of pivot tables.
